[US]_Ketho.2 Press Release
Duravit North America is pleased to introduce Ketho.2, a new interpretation of designer Christian Werner’s timeless furniture series. Reviving the unmistakable aesthetic of the original Ketho series, Ketho.2 features an overall revamped shape with a more contemporary twist across each of the furniture offerings. The new integrated anthracite handles emphasize the collection’s horizontal lines and perfectly balanced proportions. The robust quality and functionality of this furniture range, offered at an attractive market rate price, make this series an ideal companion to Duravit’s ‘Upgrade Your Everyday’ bathroom experience.
“We are excited to expand on the Ketho series with the launch of Ketho.2 for the North American market,” says Bob Downie, President and CEO of Duravit Americas. “Christian reimagined this series through more modern forms and finishes, while retaining its timeless appeal and functionality. The result is a highly adaptable Duravit range that affords greater flexibility across the bathroom space.”
Characterized by its clear, rectangular shapes and distinctive perpendicular lines, Ketho.2 offers an eye-catching yet elegant range of bathroom storage solutions across residential, commercial and hospitality applications.
Furniture and Cabinets
A complete line of furniture designed by storied Duravit designer Christian Werner, Ketho.2 boasts a variety of functional features. With full-length anthracite handles, the units feature a door, pull-out compartments or drawers — depending on consumer’s style and storage needs. Available in an assortment of sizes, the furniture ranges from compact 16 ⅛” to more expansive sizing of 47 ⅝”. Available in 9 finishes, including 4 natural wood finishes, the furniture is made from sustainable PEFC® certified materials. Each of the vanity units can be beautifully paired with sinks from the ME by Starck and D-Neo series and the C.1 faucet.
Storage Space
Ideal for any size bathroom from single user to family bathrooms, Ketho.2 is perfect for everyday use. Offering a premium drawer system with impressively effortless operation, the storage solutions afford high load-bearing capacity and boast convenient self-closing and soft-closure functions. In addition to the soft-closing drawers, the doors also open and close smoothly and silently. Expanding the storage options, the tall cabinets offer additional space for bathroom essentials. Further, a high quality interior organization system is available separately for vanity units with drawers for enhanced tidiness.
