The fve star hotel Alpina Gstaad is regarded as an icon for Gstaad's hotel industry, combining Swiss tradition with sophisticated luxury. The hotel's architecture makes use of materials and craftsmanship typical of the mountain region. The façade is crafted from pine and hand-carved alpine stone, whilst four corner towers are the dominant feature of the building.
